I've owned guns my whole life, and way to many gun owners don't take the weapons they own seriously, or treat them with the respect they derserve. Kids playing with guns is not the kids fault, the owners of guns who raise those kids are at fault, and they're responsible for teaching ANYONE that guns are NOT TOYS and are not to be played with. Mine are locked in a safe with trigger locks on them, and I taught my Son and Daughter both how to handle, and shoot guns so they know they're not toys. I wanted them to know in case one of their friends in school started showing them their dads gun, or waving it around, or playing with it, that they would know to respond, and what to do. Gun owners, at times, can be their own worst enemy.
